The thickness of links indicates the intensity of collaboration between two nodes and the size of the nodes indicates their degree centrality (top image), betweeness centrality (lower left) and closeness centrality (lower right). Node color indicates whether the organizations is a university (pink), research institute (green), industry (yellow), hospital or medical centre (blue) or other (grey). The top five organizations with highest centrality according to each metric are labelled. For visualization purposes, only the largest component is shown
