  1. Organizations were represented by at least one but often two representatives in the case of larger organizations (CIHR, PHAC). All founding organizations remained engaged as organizational representatives over the time period with one exception (CDPAC). In some cases, the representative(s) from each organization changed or the individual left the organization but remained engaged and so the connection to the organization was lost (PHSA, CCL, and CDPAC). In addition to organizational representatives, individual experts from research and policy communities were engaged during the time period. Some also served as either a member or co-chair of the initiative, providing an explicit link to the CIHR-IPPH advisory board at the time
